The

Picky Eating Clinic

For the mom tired of the dinner table fights

Pick Your Class Time

A live class for moms who are done cooking two dinners a night because their kid said "I don't like that."  You made dinner. They took one look and asked for crackers. Again.

Now what?

Do you make a second meal? Bargain for one bite? Blend spinach into a muffin and pray? Or let them leave the table and hear "I'm hungry" ten minutes after you've wiped it down?

If your kid's food preferences are running your kitchen and you're fucking exhausted, you're in the right place

The worry nobody sees

The crackers/bread/cheese are just the part that happens at the table. Later you're lying awake doing math: three days of toast and string cheese, and they haven't pooped since Tuesday. You wonder whether the bedtime meltdowns have something to do with what they're not eating. You've typed "can picky eating cause behavior problems" into Google more than once and closed the tab before you finished reading.

That worry is what makes you cave. When you're scared about their gut and their mood, the backup meal feels like the responsible choice, and you'd rather they eat something beige than nothing at all.

The loop it creates

They refuse, you panic, and the only food they’ll eat comes out. They consistently hold out, since holding out works. You've saved the posts and made the food look cute and exciting and you're still at the stove at 6:15 making another round of a very specific brand of nuggets.

Nobody here is the bad guy. It's a pattern, and patterns can be broken. Picky eating is often a leadership question in a broccoli costume: when you don't trust your own call about dinner, your kid feels the wobble and fills the gap.

In the Picky Eating Clinic, we take on the moments that make mealtimes miserable:

  • We’ll start with how picky eating accidentally gets started and amplified.
  • Dinner refusal: what to do in the moment, and what to do with the plate afterward
  • The snack loop: why they're starving at 4pm and not interested at 6
  • New foods: getting them onto the plate without a hostage negotiation
  • The second meal question: whether you make something else, and when that answer changes

You'll leave with a plan you can use tonight. That includes the exact words for "I don't like that," plus a way to feel steady about what's on the plate even on the nights they barely touch it. Once the fear quiets down, you'll find it much easier to stop short-order cooking.

This is for you if

you're dreading 5pm and you're ready to have your dinners back again. If you were hoping for a 47-step feeding protocol and a laminated chart, I'm the wrong mom for that.
