OVER IT!Â
CHECK OUT THE CLASS TIMESAre you OVER IT? Over motherhood feeling this hard?Â
Â
Listen to me: it doesn’t have to be. I’ve spent the last few years dissecting all the ways modern motherhood is breaking us. Every mom I’ve ever worked with is EXHAUSTED. Spread too thin, trying her best, but still drowning. In this class, I’ll be breaking down the four main areas of parenting where I see most parents over-doing. It’s not that we’re just over doing it….we’re just over-doing all over the place. We’re scattered. We have energy drains that we’re unaware of.
But mostly we’re all caught in a cycle of thinking we have to be all things to all the people in our lives…especially our little people…yup…our kids. Without villages or family support, most moms fall into the trap of trying TO OVER WORK to make everything balanced.
In reality, no one is getting the good version of you. You’re watered down, exhausted, overwhelmed, overstimulated, and BURNT TF OUT.
We’re gonna pull this apart, break it down, burn it to the ground, and rebuild. Fuck yeah. Okay…maybe not with so much gusto cause I know ya’ll are tired AF. Maybe we’ll do some subtle dismantling, some rearranging of patterns, and find some peace for you and your home.
Each class has a different focus aiming at correcting all the “overs” in motherhood:
Over parenting: Boundaries; what they are and how to keep them. Consequences; the different kinds and the difference between a consequence and a punishment. First time listening; kids only listen when you lose your shit? Yeah. Let’s fix that.
Overwhelm: The bad news: so much overwhelm is actually our digital lives. The good news: we just have to manage things differently. And no, I’m not gonna say give up your phone or social media. We ARE going to find your energy drains and fix those leaks.
Overstimulated: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know you’re supposed to be coregulating when your kid loses their shit. But you don’t even know how to stay regulated yourself to do that. We’ll identify what dysregulation looks like in you. Then I’ll teach you lots of quick ways you can move in and out of dysregulation with ease. Regulated parents are NOT calm all time, they just can move in and out of different states easily.
Over Doing: the mental load. There are 5 main components that make up the mental load. Probably not shocking to you but a lot of this falls on mothers. We’ll go through all five and find places to ease up, so you’re not carrying it all.
OVER IT is a month long class, each class is an hour, live on zoom. Each session is recorded so if you can’t make it, we’ll send you the recording. We’ll have time for Q and A’s for sure…but this is not 1:1 counseling or consulting.Â
