Recommended Potty Chairs And Stuff.
There are so many potty chair choices out there that choosing one seems more important than the actual potty training.
I’m going to give you all my recommended choices.
I’ve linked them up for ease and so you can see which products I’m talking about. The links here may not represent the best prices you can find. I’m not associated with, nor do I make any sort of affiliate income on these products. These are just the ones I like and recommend.
Most importantly, DO NOT get a potty chair with bells and whistles. A small, plain potty works best. Even better if it’s only a potty. Even ones that can be step stools, can easily turn into something else in your child’s mind. Remember this is a container for fecal matter and urine, not anything else.
I recommend the Baby Bjorn for a potty chair. They come in a couple of different sizes, depending on the size of your child.
For a travel potty, I recommend the Potette. These have bags you dispose of and they set up and fold down with ease. I see them in real use with real moms all the time. That’s proof, baby.
I recommend these foldable inserts. They are great to carry around in your purse (in a ziploc) for public restrooms or houses that may not be ready for your potty trainee.
I highly, HIGHLY recommend the Squatty Potty. This will change the lives of every pooping member of your family. It can function as a step stool for your little one and keeps their feet on solid ground. I imagine it’s really weird trying to poop with your feet dangling. Just sayin’.
If the iPotty looks good to you, that’s fine. We are not on the same parenting page and you won’t like much of what I have to say. Like, ever.
